Artist's Comments

You ever turn on your iPod on shuffle, to wind up with a really abstract song and get crazy images in your head? I don't know anymore. So "Die Rache Krieg Lied Der Assyriche" by Nile comes on, and I'm always struck with the image of, well...

Something like this.

...The lyrics to this song don't help any, conveying an image of spirits coming marching in, so. I don't remember much about how Egyptian ghosts/monsters were personified. Nile is pretty famous for using ancient Egyptian mysticism in their lyrics, so. Nile is also classified as a Brutal Death Metal band, so if you wonder what type of music they are. I DO recommend them, seemingly since bands like "Immortal" and "Slayer" are getting more publicity lately with the youth. DO listen to Nile.

An then I end up with these figures I've had nightmares about since I was little.

I DUNNO LOL. It's.......something. It's abstract. It was a speed paint in OpenCanvas, and then turned into something else when I worked on it more in Adobe.

Wow, this really cool. It looks like something I saw in the original artwork for the Fallout game.
